Depending on your chosen import method and features used, we may collect:

• Account/portfolio metrics: balances, P&L, performance and analytics calculations.
• Broker/platform connection data: connection tokens, API keys, or credentials (stored encrypted).
• Journal entries: your notes, reflections, tags, screenshots you upload (if applicable), and strategy content.

2.3 Technical Information

We automatically collect certain technical information:

5.1 General Policy

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only as described below.

5.2 Service Providers

We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Service, such as:

• Cloud hosting providers (for secure storage and compute)
• Analytics providers (to understand product usage)
• Email providers (for service communications)
• Security providers (for fraud/abuse prevention)

These providers are authorized to process your information only as needed to provide services to us and are required to protect it.

• Trading data & journal data: retained until you delete it (see Section 8), unless a longer period is required by law.
• Usage/telemetry data: retained for a limited period to improve the Service (typically up to 24 months).
• Support communications: retained as needed for support and dispute handling (typically up to 36 months).

8. Data Deletion Policy

TradeBB is built around user control. You can delete specific imports, journal entries, or your entire account/portfolio. Deletion is designed to be immediate and irreversible.

8.1 What “Immediate & Irreversible” Means

• Immediate removal from active systems: when you delete data, it is removed from active databases and application access paths.
• Cryptographic erasure for backups: data is protected with encryption keys. When deletion is confirmed, we destroy the relevant keys, rendering any remaining encrypted fragments (including in backups) unreadable and unrecoverable.
• No recovery: once deleted, we cannot restore the deleted data.

8.2 Deleting Imports vs. Deleting Your Entire Account

• Delete a specific import: removes the trades and derived analytics tied to that import.
• Delete your portfolio/data: removes trading history, analytics, and journals within your account.
• Delete your account: triggers deletion of account data and associated content, except where legal obligations apply.

8.3 Legal or Operational Exceptions

In limited cases, we may retain certain minimal information if required by law (for example, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or compliance obligations). If an exception applies, access is restricted and the data is retained only for the legally required period.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may link to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those external services. We encourage you to review their privacy practices before using them.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards to help protect your information in connection with such transfers.
